Due to my work I have to travel a lot so I will not be around much from april 1 till april 16. I will be in a part of the world where I will have very limited internet access, if any at all. So I will be setting my line ups as best I can for the time I am gone and I will try to check in if i get the opportunity.
Looks like you will be getting a easy win this weeks caps cause I wont be able to keep up with all the players that you call up and add for extra starts.

I don't know if that cycling really ends up helping most of the time. For the record during the first round of the playoffs here are the games played ranking for each of the 8 playoff teams:
Team GP Winnipeg Jets 101 Dallas Stars 93 Washington Capitals 89 Tampa Bay Lightning 86 Vancouver Canucks 85 Montreal Canadiens 84 Boston Bruins 77 New York Rangers 74

Also worth noting last week that I while had 26 total players take the ice for at least one game for my team. For comparison 34 did for your team.
So if you are implying that I 'cheating' to win, the numbers don't really point to me being a very good cheater.

it is not cheating cause there is no rule against it. but its 100% clear you are taking advantage. add up the total for the season. you by far added more than most teams, where as a good portion of my add total came from feb 1 till now. something for sure has to be done about teams adding players and calling up guys just to get extra starts, especially when most of the time you dont need them. a limit has to be made for call ups/adds for every match up next season to prevent teams from taking advantage. you added more players than the bottom 8 teams combined on that list. its obviously a huge advantage. there is no valid reason for any owner to use that many adds in a season. its unfair to the entire league. no team has added more than your team for the past 2 seasons

You are right, I lead the league in adds for the season. Here is the list of teams and their adds:
Washington Capitals 71 Montreal Canadiens 66 Tampa Bay Lightning 60 Winnipeg Jets 59 New York Rangers 24 Vancouver Canucks 17 Boston Bruins 16 Dallas Stars 13 Buffalo Sabres 13 Chicago BlackHawks 9 Toronto Maple Leafs 8 Nashville Predators 4 Columbus Blue Jackets 4 Philadelphia Flyers 1 I am not sure if I would say that leading by 5 adds is 'by far'. I would even go as far to say that the 11 adds I have more then you isn't a big difference. Certainly not a 'huge advantage'
You could say that you have more adds then the bottom 7 teams combined but I think that is more a reflection of inactivity at the bottom then excessive moves by you.

season add totals for the past 2 seasons combined(not including playoffs). these numbers are ridiculous. a limit has to be put on adds for a match up next season
caps = 127 tampa = 116 habs = 109 jets = 86 rangers = 58 stars = 45 sabers = 30 bruins = 24 nucks = 21 leafs = 18 preds = 15 jackets = 14 hawks = 13 flyers = 11

nucks is active and his team kicked ass this year. how many player adds did he use? 17... far cry from the 71 player adds that you used

I am not sure we have the same definition of ridiculous. Is your intention of posting that list to show that I am some strange statistical outlier being not that far from 2nd and less then a move a week different then you? I like active leagues and I consider trying to win a part of being active but I don't think I am worthy of your slings and arrows based on these numbers.
Assuming your actions define acceptable, how far outside the range of what you do is acceptable? Is what Tampa and the Habs have done is also too much? How about the other side? Have the Bruins done too little? They are less then a third of your moves (and yet defending champs and regular season champs)?

Glad to see you taking an active approach to change the rules as you seem to feel strongly on it.
Hope your trip goes well (and your team falls apart without you).

jets as far as adds go all it shows is who is the most active any team at any time could have added any of the same players. in my opinion that list shows who the most active GMs are and this league is built on activity. SOG, PIM, Hits BLks all can easily be accumulated by very active GM's. obviously it takes more than that but it is a very easy way to compete if you want to put in the effort. I did crap all season but still ended up in 1st overall so i dont really see the point of this argument. both of you have awesome teams and it should be a good match regardless of adds.
but next season i am gonna limit the adds in the playoffs to just you immediate team NHL/AHL. if anyone is gonna win it gonna be with the team they built not the garbage they add every day
