I knew Kovi was a pathetic joke after he was a FA and only went to visit LA cause he wanted a free trip and his wife had never been there before. Never had any intention of signing with them. The guy is a loser, devils got what they deserved in signing a over rated snob like him. Have fun in the KHL. The NHL is for REAL hockey players anyway.

he left 77 milion on the table, but will make that back within 5 years in the K...Lamaroulo was right for not wanting to sign him, the owner whoever it was at the time forced him to, and New Jersey is still on the hook for a 1st rnd. draft pick for that deal.
Good riddance, this why you stay away from drafting russians, ovechkin is next.

Tampa bay is placing all Russian born players on the block before they go back.
I think if ovie didn't bounce back this year he would have gone, him and semin. But they will stay...for now.
