If teams pick up players off teams not selected they should be able to be added to team or traded until roster freeze. Just because Hockeybuzz has them listed under different team should make no difference , their salary for this year or last year if they have not got a contract this year yet is posted. With all the teams not picked and entry draft coming up these trades could help many teams by picking up players from teams not selected. No team has an advantage , no one can predict what trades may happen. It is not as if someone is losing a player off the team they picked.

i am sorry but no it is not that way. again i will explain but this is the last time i wish to speak of it.
Just because the trade happened with a team that is not part of this league does not make it a different set of rules.
Actually if we did let that happen then Montreal does not have halak to trade to you he would be on the blues and there fore the trade would still be no good.
If the flyers trade hartnell in real life to the blues for ellers does that mean that you should lose hartnell and pick up ellers?
if the bruins trade boucher for rask does that mean we should switch goalies?
Please think with logic not your heart
the trade is no good ellers is still a blue on our site and halak is still with the canadians. all rosters are to be finalized by the end of the week check the calendar

If you read my post I did not say that any team that has a player traded should lose that player . What I said was "It is not as if someone is losing a player off the team they picked. " It is not as if Stampkos or any other star player from one of the 14 other teams not picked was traded to one of the 16 teams picked . Lars Eller is unproven but I am willing to risk it . There are players on teams that have contracts but are not listed on hockeybuzz for example Brandon Kozun of LA Kings signed a 3 year contract in April but it is not on hockeybuzz even though he was drafted by LA. LA still should be able to put him on team still even though he is not listed on hockeybuzz.
